FAVOURITES, EVERY TIME24 JUL
The first recorded message sets a simple plan to meet. Before long, the chat has its own pace: check-ins, quick replies and a lot of laughter.
The opening exchanges already sound like two people who know how to tease each other.
02 TO 03 AUG
Hannah's wonderfully stretched yes turns up in the chat. Then a tiny future show dog enters the field, and Winnie becomes a headline act.
Granddad suggests an alternative dog name. The judges stick with Winnie.
SEP → OCT
The granddad and granddauty names become a language of their own. Winnie gets a growing fan club, and the running jokes keep finding new legs.
By 28 October, Hannah is asking for her racehorse name. Naturally, this form guide follows.

She brings the pictures. He brings the essays. Both bring the faces.
Granddad and granddauty. A pair with their own words, their own rhythm and a little dog who keeps stealing the camera.
Sometimes the best form is simple: show up, laugh, keep talking, and make each other feel like a favourite.
ONE VERY GOOD TEAMThe Stewards have reviewed the messages, the late starts and the repeated appearance of a very small dog. The evidence points to an unusual but highly effective partnership. Hannah can turn one syllable into a whole grandstand. Granddad can turn one question into three paragraphs and still find room for a punchline. Both are clearly racing to make the other laugh.
Winnie has entered the competition without a barrier draw and is already attracting attention. The proposed alternative name was considered, but the original runner remains the crowd favourite. There is also a strong pattern of checking in, making plans and cheering each other on, often well after the sensible hour to call it a night.
The Stewards note the contrasting styles: short bursts from Hannah, long runs from Granddad. Together, they cover the whole track. No interference found. Plenty of affection observed. The official verdict is that this is a granddad and granddauty pairing with excellent form and absolutely no need for a finish line.
Verdict: keep the silks on. This race is a classic.
